With a 230ft Bluetooth range, you can monitor your meat temperature without having to stand in front of the grill or oven. Once the food temperature exceeds the preset temperature level, the thermometer will beep, and you'll receive an app notification on your smartphone. You can also set a pre-alarm to get ready in advance when the meat temperature is close to the set temperature.

This meat thermometer is precise to ±1.8°F for a temperature range of 32°F to 302°F and ±3.6°F for a temperature range of 302°F to 572°F. It comes with two probes for monitoring the temperatures of two cooking materials simultaneously, and the extra-long probe cords keep your hands safe from hot surfaces.

On the Govee Home app, a clear temperature line graph is shown, and temperature data for the last 2 hours is recorded, helping you monitor every change during the cooking period. The thermometer can be placed on a flat metal surface, such as an oven or grill shelf, with its strong magnet, or it can be placed on a table with its folded stand.

To connect the digital meat thermometer using Bluetooth, open the Govee Home App, press the "+" in the upper right-hand corner, and select "H5182" from the device list. Turn on your smartphone's Bluetooth and place it near the thermometer, then press the thermometer's power button for 3 seconds, and finally, press the thermometer's name in the app to complete the pairing.

The Govee Home App provides temperature recommendations for 5 doneness levels of beef and lamb: Rare, Medium Rare, Medium, Medium Well, and Well Done. It's recommended to connect and use the device within the 230ft Bluetooth range of your smartphone (with no obstructions in between). Android users need to keep the App online or running in the background with activity permissions.

After use, it is recommended to rinse or wipe the probe, but do not soak the probe in water, as the curved area on top of the probe is not waterproof, and soaking the probe could cause malfunctions. Keep the probes out of reach of all children, as they contain a sharp point. Additionally, please keep the meat thermometer unit safe from heat sources and hot surfaces to protect its internal batteries and exterior shell, as heat could cause damage to the main unit.
